Matt Schlindwein of F. Greek Development receives 2015 Rising Star Award

- F. Greek Development is proud to announce that, Matt Schlindwein, FGD Vice President of Development, has received the 2015 Rising Star Award presented by NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. The Rising Star honors developing leaders who have demonstrated strong leadership thru their skills in the development industry.

At Greek Development, Matt's responsibilities include directing and overseeing the company's development efforts, including site selection, due diligence, design, entitlement, and construction. Under his direction, the company has completed several build to suit developments for some of NJ's leading companies. He currently oversees projects totaling over 3 million square feet of new development for various third party clients, as well as the company's own portfolio. Matt is responsible for the company's renewable energy program and has completed over 1.4 megawatts of solar systems in the portfolio.

As a member of NAIOP since 2010, Matt has made a tremendous impact. He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees, Co-Chair of the Regulatory Affairs Committee, and a National Forum member. Previously, he co-chaired the Developing Leaders Committee, helping to develop exclusive DL events, and encouraging colleagues to get involved and volunteer for the Community Action Day at the Food Bank. Matt has made excellent contributions to the Annual Leadership Planning discussions and attended the Chapter Leadership & Legislative Retreat in Washington, DC. With his excellent attendance at NAIOP events and meetings, and his involvement in industry advocacy efforts, Matt sets an outstanding example of involvement for his peers.

New Jersey-based, F. Greek Development Lands Development Deal in Illinois

Chicago, IL - – F. Greek Development, a leading full-service industrial real estate company, announced today they have acquired 11.16 acres in Bolingbrook, Illinois in a joint venture with Chicago-based, Distribution Realty Group. The Partnership plans to construct a speculative Class A distribution facility within minutes of the I-55 corridor. Set to break ground in the summer of 2015, the Class A industrial property is scheduled for completion within a year.

"This is a dynamic opportunity for both Distribution Realty Group and Greek Development," said James Love, Managing Partner of Distribution Realty Group. "FGD is supplying the capital resources along with an experienced team of managers that will work together with the team of Distribution Realty to diligently manage every phase of this project from the entitlement process straight through to project completion and property management."

Located on 990 Veterans Parkway and Crossroads Parkway, the Partnership will construct a 182,875 square-foot Class A warehouse. Enhancing the full function of the property, the building design will feature insulated tilt-up construction, 32' ceiling clear height, large bay spacing, ESFR sprinkler systems, corporate quality glass storefronts, ample dock loading, deep truck courts, trailer parking and the ability to demise the building for multiple tenants.

F. Greek Development awarded a contract to construct two speculative warehouses for Clarion Partners’ Burlington Industrial Park

Burlington, NJ - – F. Greek Development, a leading full-service industrial real estate company, announced today that they have been awarded a contract to construct two speculative warehouses for Clarion Partners' Burlington Industrial Park, located in Burlington NJ. When completed, the total park will be 1,690,000 square feet. Set to break ground mid April 2015, the Class-A industrial property is scheduled for completion by the end of 2016.

"We're seeing continued interest and activity from companies that contract with us to construct Class-A warehousing," said Matthew Schlindwein, F. Greek Development Vice President of Development, "When a nationally-recognized commercial investment company like Clarion Partners, contracts with us to build, they know that they will get a consistent, high-quality product in a park that can accommodate both their short-term and longer term growth."

Located at the intersection of Neck Road and River Road, FGD will construct a 476,950 square-foot facility and a 172,000 square-foot building within the industrial park. Enhancing the full function of the property, the building design and construction by FGD will feature insulated tilt-up construction, large bay spacing, deep truck courts, ESFR sprinkler systems and trailer parking.
